Acknowledged and recognised as one of the leading entertainment venues outside of London in times gone by, and following a period of restoration (2006-2008), the Royal Hall now acts as a pivotal northern cultural centre providing a venue for arts, entertainments and events.
The Royal Hall continues to fulfil a key role in the social and economic life of Harrogate and District; its aims to attract both a wide range of audiences, visitors and guests, whilst also engaging with business and the wider community via access and education initiatives.
